Itenirary 1: Rovinj - Bale - Pula
Meet your guide & driver at the hotel in Rovinj. Transfer to the town of Bale situated at a height of 140 meters above sea level. The town developed around the medieval castle of the Sardo and Bembo families in the 15th century and is mentioned in the earliest written documents as the Roman settlement Castrum Vallis. From the moment you set your eyes at Villa owned by a famous local vinary, nestled among the vineyards and olive groves, you’ll think you’re in a place where you could stay forever. In this Istrian oasis, surrounded by beautiful scenery, enriched with intoxicating scents of nature and the nearby sea, even the demanding ones will remain enchanted. Various layers of history took part in the making of this unique town in which Roman temples defy baroque palaces, early Christian churches stand face to face to Austrian villas, and the remnants of mediaeval walls are cut through by antique town gates. And then, you will come across the Amphitheatre, revealing itself to you in all its beauty. This is one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, the most significant monument in Pula! Arena, the place where gladiators faced lions, used to be able to entertain 25 000 spectators. Itenirary 2: Rovinj - Porec - Nova Vas
Meet your guide & driver at the hotel in Rovinj. Transfer to the village Vižinada. One of the most beautiful views in Istria can be enjoyed from Vižinada and the surrounding hillside of Sv.Tomo (St Thomas hill). The wonderful views are spread across abundantly fruitful vineyards where wine sessions will be held at a two local estates. The first Family Farm is located at the Vižinada Bajkini where wine is produced independently over 12ha planted and well groomed vineyards. From 1885. the family keeps the tradition of growing indigenous Istrian Malvasia wines, food and Teran - row crowned silver at Vinistra Vinovita and national festivals. Famous for its variety of homemade brandy, this estate shows that it has something to say in the world of fine wines. Continue to the second estate that currently handles its own 6 hectares of vineyards, of which the largest part of the Istrian Malvasia, and five other varieties: Chardonnay, Yellow Muscat, Teran, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Along the beautiful vineyards they carefully cultivate their olive trees preserving the proud family tradition of the fruits of many years of a high quality product, extra virgin olive oil.
